Ribbies Clippies are the best children's hair clip

When I heard my friend complain about how some hair clips and hair ties rip her two daughters' hair out, I decided to look for the perfect hair clips for them. I was on a mission to look for hair clips for the curly haired and straight haired toddlers. It was challenging to find the perfect clip. I have done lots of research and found that most clips will not stay on or it gets tangled in the hair. I found a few clips that were alligator clips with velco in them. I tested them on my hair and can tell that the velco will pull some of the hairs out. So that didn't work. I almost gave up until I ran into Ribbies Clips. They're cute made with an alligator clip, grosgrain ribbon, and a strip of foam (looks like something that I use in my class for an art project).

The girls love these hair clips. It worked for both types of hair and it stayed on without damaging it.

Elmo Live Toy Review

I love this Elmo Live toy. Elmo doesn't just laugh but now he interacts with you and your child by singing, plays games, dancing, sneezes, telling jokes and stories. Elmo moves are more life like than ever before. His whole body moves including his arms and legs, his mouth and head move while he talks, sings, or when he tells stories. It makes me want to be a kid again.

Infantino Play Time Activity Center Review

Infantino Play Time Activity Center is for 3 months and up. It can be used for traveling (folds up easily) or at home. It is a great educational toy that uses your childs different senses like sound, sight, and texture. The Activity Center consists of four activity-packed sides with a peek-a-boo mirror, put-and-take bird's nest, large water pouch fish tank, and peek-and-see leaves. It is a wonderful toy whether your child is doing tummy time or seated play.

The only thing that I don’t like about this toy is the backings of the birds (from the put-and-take bird’s nest) are made out of felt. After pulling the birds off of the Velcro so many times, it can rip or thin out.
The cheapest store that I found this toy was at Target for $24.95

Baby Bear Thermometer Review

When people use water, each person has a different level of tolerance for the temperature. For those of you who are use to using hot water, you're body is use to that temperature. When you try to set the bath water for your child, you can’t really feel when the water is too hot for your child since you are so use to a hotter temperature. Anyone knows that when getting water ready for a child, the temperature can be a guessing game. You can scald the child if the water is too hot. The temperature you may be use to may be too hot for your child. Well, let's not guess. The Bear Baby Bath Thermometer is a cute floating thermometer that shows the exact water temperature. Not only does it tell the temperature of the water after you just toss it in, it can serve as a toy for your child when taking his/her bath.

Learning Steps Activity Gym by Little Tikes Review

I was at Walmart looking for toys since I'm going to babysit my little 8 month old cousin. She is starting to pull herself up and interested in walking. I thought Learning Steps Activity Gym by Little Tikes was something that she could use. I was already imagining her using it.

When I got home, I put it together. It was very easy to assemble. I tested if it was sturdy but it was a little wobbly. I was disappointed that it was wobbly and the bars were not safe for the child. The bars were not padded so if she fell she could hurt herself. The buttons that plays music when you push them was a lot of fun for my cousin. The hanging discs plays music whenever it swings but it each time it swings a different song plays. It could get a little annoying at times. It is a great concept but I hope they fix the little kinks. Be sure to be around when your child plays with this toy.

Shop & Play by Infantino Review

This is a great gift for parents that are worried about their children getting germs from the shopping carts (like me). It’s cute and adds a little extra padding for our little love ones. You can also use this product laying it flat on the ground for tummy time but I don't think it's wide enough for tummy play. It's not wide enough for a child to roll around.

The downside about this product is that it only covers the front and back but not the sides of the shopping cart seat. The velcro straps that needs to be strapped around the back an front are too difficult to manage while holding your child. It does not fit every shopping cart as well.

Overall the Shop & Play is a cute product that does ok when you finally manage to get the straps secured.

Fresh Food Feeder by Munchkin

Have you ever want to give your child new food but you are scared that they might choke? Or has your child ever been teething so bad that they’re in so much pain and Baby Orajel doesn't help the pain? Well, the Fresh Food Feeder by Munchkin will solve your problem. You can give your fresh frozen fruit or vegetable to try or place ice in it to use for teething. The mesh bag will prevent your baby from taking pieces of food too large where they can choke. You don't have to worry about your child taking the feeder apart too as it's pretty sturdy once you lock the ring to the mesh bag. Why use Baby Orajel when you can use something more healthier or fresher.

The only downside to this product is the cleaning. While it's great for feeding your child, food can get stuck in the mesh holes. It can get a little tricky to clean it out.

Overall this product is great to use for feeding your child solid foods and not have to worry about choking.

Tired of having to label your child's things with a permanent marker and have it get washed off or tired of regular label's not sticking? Well have no fear. Mabel's Labels will take care of the job. They can withstand the dishwasher, microwave, UV Rays and even the wear and tear from children.

I remember thinking they can withstand washes, warm water (from warming up bottles), and massive amounts of drool (labels on pacifiers). When I got my hands on some, I put it to the test. I placed one on a bottle and it withstood the dishwasher and microwave. I placed a label on a shirt and it withstood the wash quite a few times. These labels are perfect for labeling bottles, sippy cups, spoons, pacifiers, shoes, anything and everything used for daycare. Trust me, in a daycare anyone can mistaken your belongings for theirs. When I first heard about this product, I was skeptical. How was I going to get a workout from a board? Well I knew when the Wiifit comes out in stores, it would be sold out. So I preordered it and it came in two weeks. It sat to the side of my living room until I opened it yesterday. I played a little over an hour of aerobics and balance games. Boy were my legs sore.

It's a great product that combines brilliant programs that'll increase balance/flexibilty, and track your progress towards being healthier. Not only does it promote good health, it's fun. This product is good for people who don't have time to make it to the gym or thinks the gym is boring sometimes (like me). It's also great for parents who cannot leave their children but still wants to workout. I love the Wii better than any other video game console where you just sit around(well, maybe working out your fingers from the controller). Great invention!!!

My Plate-Mate For Kids Review

I remember being a toddler and trying to scoop food using my utensils. That didn't go very well as I scattered food all over the table and under my bowl or plate. Let's just say my Mom was not very happy. "My Plate-Mate" is a great invention that prevents making a mess during meals. It is good for any age such as infants, toddlers, and kids who are learning to use utensils. It will help them gain self-confidence and independence during meals. Hasbro Playskool Busy Ball Popper Review

I first encountered this toy when I was babysitting two kids. The 11 month old boy and a 2 1/2 year old girl played with the Busy Ball Popper for hours. I was pretty entertained myself. I think I was more entertained from their expressions. The Busy Ball Popper has great music and sound effects that keeps the kids entertained. It's great for kids to learn cause and effect from this toy. In other words, if they put the ball a certain area of the toy it would do this.
